SESSION COSTS

Nutritional therapy is an investment in your health and wellness. Rather than paying for medication and doctor’s bills, why not direct your resources towards preventative care; improving your health from the inside out. Hiring a professional can shave years of trial and error on your part and finally get to the root of the health issues that have been troubling you.

Note: Unfortunately insurance does not cover nutritional therapy. Sometimes a health savings plan (HSA) will cover nutritional therapy if you have a recommendation from your doctor.

DOCUMENTATION & FORMS

You will receive three main forms – a Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire, an Initial Interview Questionnaire, and a Food and Mood Journal. This gives me a unique perspective of your bio-individ- ual needs. Everyone is different and my goal is to help you tune into your own bodies’ needs while guiding you towards a whole foods, nutrient dense diet. You will also receive a disclaimer. AMY’S DIET PHILOSOPHY

The nutritional training I received is based on a nutrient-dense, whole foods diet. This means there is a focus on high quality, whole, unrefined, and unprocessed foods. I will help you understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy fats and we’ll discuss how to incorporate healthy proteins – both plant and meat based into your diet. I specialize in traditional diet, also known as ancestral diet based on the Weston A Price Foundation. These diet principles have stood the test of time and produced the most excellent health in both primitive peoples in remote locations and modern peoples who adopt these diet principles. I strive to help my clients to find their own balance of macronutrients that is ideal for their personal needs and can work with clients who lean more towards a meat/fat heavy approach or a more vegetarian approach. Unfortunately, I do not work with clients who want to follow a strictly ketogenic or vegan diet.

I am certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practi- tioner through the Nutritional Therapy Associa- tion – a rigorous 10 month program. Addition- ally, I have been researching and implementing ancestral health and holistic wellness for the last ten years! In other words, it’s my passion! Finally, as a Christian, I also believe that it is the Lord’s calling on my life to bring healing to many through nutrition and wellness.
